So far, the product leaks centered around Korean maker's upcoming Galaxy A-series have been limited to the lower-end models. New Samsung A-series phones typically start dropping before the year ends. And, reportedly, the Galaxy A73 will be the first of these phones.

Samsung Galaxy A73 was featured in an extensive leak from the reputable source Steve Hemmerstoffer, better known by his Twitter handle @OnLeaks. Mr. Hemmerstoffer’s report contains high-quality 360° mockups, detailed specs, pricing, and the launch timeline.

We’re looking at almost identical to this year’s Samsung Galaxy A72. Almost, because the camera island now melts into the casing. The one-piece panel holds four lenses and an LED flash. Samsung’s campaign against the headphone port has reached the Galaxy A-series too. The next generation of these phones, including the Galaxy A53 and A73, will lack a 3.5mm audio jack.

At 7.6mm, the Galaxy A73 is a slim phone (although the camera bump juts out some 2mm.) The display is a flat 6.7” OLED panel with a 1080P max resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Under this screen, we’ll find a hidden fingerprint scanner. The display has thin bezels and a hole punch. Samsung’s ultra-high-res 108MP leads the camera cluster. The body comes in at least two colors: black and gold.

Everything runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G. This chip came out in 2020, so expect the Galaxy A73 to show its age soon. It’s hooked up to a 5000 mAh battery. Plus, Samsung has beefed up the charging power to 33W.

You get 8GB of memory and 128GB of internal storage. The Android 12 and OneUI power the Galaxy A73. The phone is slated for launch in late December this year. It starts from ~ Rs. 77,000.
