Samsung is introducing the all-new Fan Edition flagship — the Galaxy S20 FE — at the Galaxy Unpacked later today. Plus, a few accessory products to boot. You can catch the virtual event live at Samsung Pakistan’s official webpage or their social media later today, but before you do, here’s a rundown of what to expect from the ‘Unpacked event for every fan’.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE brings a whole new color palette to the timeless-but-forgettable aesthetic the original S20 trio had. It comes in the expressive Cloud Pink, Cloud Red, Cloud Gold, Cloud White, Cloud Mint, and Cloud Navy colorways.
But since Galaxy S20 FE is presumably a more 'value' model, offering more for less, Samsung switched to plastic for the back of this phone, unlike the glass sandwich seen across the board for the S20 series. You still get IP68 water and dust resistance, as well as wireless charging support. The handset is expected to be added soon to the Samsung Price list in Pakistan.
The design has a bit more polish to it and doesn’t look like the extravagant-but-undercooked S20 Ultra. Its screen has also been flattened, but with the curved profile gone, the bezels are thicker than ever. This SuperAMOLED panel on Samsung Galaxy S20 FE reportedly reaches a fluid 120Hz refresh rate and a sharp 407 ppi. Samsung has upgraded the 10MP selfie camera to a more high-res 32MP, housed inside the Infinity-O hole in the center.
There’s a dedicated telephoto camera on the back that produces up to 30x Space Zoom and a true ultra-wide-angle 123° lens — with the industry-leading widest FoV. The Galaxy Unpack event is all set for Today, September 23, 2020 at 7 PM Pakistan Time. The Samsung S20 FE is expected to start from Rs. 129,999.
