The brand went on record early this week to say that the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G is still in the works and hasn’t suffered any production glitches. This new Fan Edition seems to be on track for a launch in Fall, and sure enough, several authorities have now certified the phone. Here is what they uncover.
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE was approved by the Chinese 3C and the European TÜV Rheinland authorities. You can find their respective public listings under the model numbers “SM-G990B”, “SM-G990N”, and “SM-G9900.”
TÜV Rheinland tested the phone’s battery and charging specifications, reporting that the S21 FE supports up to 25W charging — the fastest that Samsung has to offer. But it remains to be seen if Samsung will ship this Fan Edition with a 25W power brick since Galaxy S20 FE’s charger was capped at only 15W. However, the S21 FE should inherit the wireless and reverse wireless charging features from its predecessor.
Notable phone leaker Evan Blass previously tweeted the product images and pricing of the Galaxy S21 FE. As per Mr. Blass, the new Samsung mobile 2021 FE could support the iconic S-pen. It would be sold as an accessory because there is no extra housing to be seen on the phone’s build. It comes in Mint, White, Grey, Blue, Black, and Lavender colors.
The top-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, 4500 mAh battery, and Android11 OS power the Galaxy S21 FE. Its display is a 6.4” AMOLED panel. The cameras should retain the OIS feature from last year. The phone leaker puts its expected price at $625 (~ Rs. 99,000.)
