The long-anticipated (and delayed) Fan Edition of the Samsung Galaxy S21 dropped last week. There were no surprises because every aspect of the phone had been heavily leaked over the past few months. The Galaxy S21 FE is already available to pre-order in Europe & India. And it’s also heading to Pakistan soon.
The official product page for the Galaxy S21 FE 5G is up on Samsung Pakistan’s website. Plus, Samsung’s Pakistan social media channels have teased this upcoming arrival. So although we don’t have a definite launch date for the Galaxy S21 FE, it should be landing here any day now.
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is built on the same design language as the rest of the S21 series. The camera island wraps around and melts into the frame, giving it an eye-catching one-piece design.
But the flashy accents on the camera plate are gone. Gone are replaced with an even single-tone matte finish throughout. You can pick from four different shades: White, Lavender, Olive, and Graphite.
The screen of the new member of the Samsung price catalog is also modeled after the S21. We’re looking at a narrow bezel that’s symmetrical on all four sides, and a hole punched through the middle of the display. It’s a 6.4” Dynamic 2x OLED panel, operating on a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Gorilla Glass Victus, the toughest there is, protects the Galaxy S21 FE.
The camera system features 12MP ultra-wide-angle, 12MP wide-angle, 8MP telephoto, and 32MP selfie shooters. In addition, the built-in camera app offers multi-style portrait mode, night mode, and 30x Space Zoom features.
Based on region, everything runs on the 5G Snapdragon 888/Exynos 2100 chip. The battery backing up this processor is 4500 mAh, capable of charging at 25W. Samsung offers many flagship essentials to boot, including an IP68 rating against dust and water and wireless charging support. But the charging brick has gone missing from this year’s Fan Edition. The Galaxy S21 FE starts could cost anywhere between Rs. 116,000 to Rs. 130,000 PKR
