Get ready for an upgrade that will make your heart skip a beat. The older Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is about to revive its performance with Snapdragon 888 processor. For those out of the loop, Asian markets received the S21 FE with an Exynos 2100 chip, which was short-lived due to its underwhelming GPU prowess. The phone’s status is about to change.

The Korean chain has officially touted the release of the upgraded S21 FE device, featuring a new Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G processor. With the improved chipset onboard, the FE will take its ranking and the user experience to the next level.

Processor aside, the Galaxy S21 FE will retain most of its original features. The phone will bear a glorious 6.4-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, complete with a buttery-smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The combination will provide users with stunning visuals and seamless scrolling.

Regarding photography, the Samsung 5G latest mobile will maintain the status quo with a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 12MP primary, a 12MP ultra-wide, and an 8MP telephoto shooter. Selfie enthusiasts can look forward to capturing self-portraits with the 32MP front-facing camera.

Battery life will remain the same, capped at 4500mAh, supporting both 25W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. Additionally, it will bring an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, an in-display fingerprint sensor for enhanced security, and NFC support for convenient contactless payments.

According to reports from offline Indian retailers, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G might be priced at ~$609 (~PKR 174,000), offering a noticeable reduction from the original launch price. The rumor mill expects the FE to drop sometime in July. More details are bound to leak in the coming days.
