Leaks surrounding the Fan edition of the Samsung Galaxy S21 continue to pile up. The phone isn’t coming out until early January 2022, so we’ve entered the last round of leaks. And the most detailed specification sheet for the Galaxy S21 FE has just surfaced.

The Samsung-focused publication SamMobile published the extensive specs of the Galaxy S21 FE. It shares little in the way of new details but corroborates the several leaks preceding it. We also have a tentative launch timeline to report.

First off, the Galaxy S21 FE has the thin, uniform edges and the centered O-hle of the original Galaxy S21. It’s a 6.4” OLED screen that peaks at 1080P resolution and refreshes at a dynamic 120Hz rate. The camera embedded in the hole punch is 32MP.

Turn the Galaxy S21 FE over to meet its triple-camera. It’s a cluster of 12MP f/1.8 wide-angle, 12MP ultra-wide-angle, and 8MP 3x telephoto lenses. All the advanced camera features of a Samsung flagship are onboard too.

The gold accents on the camera plate are gone, but the housing still wraps around to melt into the frame of the new FE Samsung mobile. You can pick from mint, lavender, white, and graphite finishes. They’re all matte and single-tone. Gorilla Glass Victus, the strongest there is, protects the Galaxy S21 FE.

At its heart, the Fan Edition has either the Snapdragon 888 or the Exynos 2100, depending on where you buy it. It works with 6GB/8GB of multitasking memory and 128GB/256GB of fast storage (but it’s no longer expandable.) The audio jack is still missing. Android 12 x OneUI powers the Galaxy S21 FE. Samsung promises three years of guaranteed OS upgrades, meaning the new Fan Edition is supported until Android 15.

The source puts the S21 FE launch at the CES 2022 event that starts in the first week of January. But the S21 FE will likely be announced through a simple press release or virtual Unpacked event. The phone starts at $699 (~ Rs. 124,000.)
