At the Galaxy Unpacked 2021 event last week, The Korean giant unveiled two custom colors for the Samsung Galaxy S21 and S21+ — Phantom Red and Phantom Gold. Even the Ultra edition, which only comes in silver and black, can be ordered in new custom colors. And seeing as Samsung is focusing on personalization now, we weren’t surprised to learn that the Galaxy S21+ is now being offered in a new custom shade.
Other than the standard Phantom Silver, Phantom Black, and Phantom Violet color options, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus can be custom painted in Phantom Green. According to Samsung Australia''s FAQ section, the mint green shade can be pre-ordered exclusively via the Samsung eStore.
The official sources haven’t shared the Phantom Green S21+ yet, but folks over at DigitalChatStation published its mockups. Not unlike the accented camera islands of other S21+ editions, the Phantom Green version has a chrome housing for the camera, contrasting against the green of the glass shell.
Note that since the renders are unofficial, the color may differ from the official Phantom Green S21+ and may also be available for the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra and S21. That said, Samsung has previously used the shade in the Galaxy S10, Note 20, and S20 FE. And that look is what the designer has based the renders on.
In Australia, the Phantom Green Galaxy S21+ comes in two storage variants, 256GB and 128GB. The latter starts from $1,549 (~Rs. 192,000). In Pakistan, the alleged new color is not yet officially listed but the handset is available at a pre-order price of Rs. 194,999. We also expect Samsung to introduce this custom color in other markets in the near future.
