Samsung's latest flagship trio, Galaxy S23, S23 Plus, and S23 Ultra, are the talk of the town these days. They are going official on February 1st at Samsung Unpacked Event. With the launch this close, leaks on their internal stats were inevitable. In a recent break, WinFuture gave away everything to know about Galaxy S23 and S23+.
The leak reveals the entire feature sheet of S23 and S23+ with minute details from display stats to WiFi modem. WinFuture's track record with leaks leads to the conclusion that these specs are legit. The list doesn't leave anything to the imagination, have a look.
Samsung Galaxy S23
In screen size, it's identical to its predecessors: a 6.1-inch AMOLED 2x panel with 1080p resolution infinity O-cutout for the camera, 48-120Hz variable refresh, Gorilla glass Victus, and HDR10+. Under the screen, it hides a 12MP sensor for selfies and a biometric.
Under its triple lens setup, it has a 50MP primary OIS stabilized sensor paired with a 12MP ultra-wide flagship 120-degree unit and a 10MP telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom. It will bear 8GB RAM with either 128GB or 256GB storage. The RAM and storage types are still under wraps.
In core specifications, S23 flaunts a 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. It powers the latest Android 13 operating system but will have the upgraded OneUI 5.1 skin on top. S23 will have a 3900mAh energizer with a 25W fast charging kit.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus
This phone has a larger canvas at 6.6 inches with similar stats: AMOLED 2x panel with 1080p resolution, punch hole cutout, 48-120Hz variable refresh, Gorilla glass Victus, and HDR10+. Under-display biometric and 12MP selfie unit us standard on both models.
A similar 50MP + 12MP + 10MP configuration resides under S23+'s cameras. However, the plus model extends the storage. Users will find 8GB RAM with either 256 or 512 Gigs of storage. Unlike S23's 167g heft, S23+ weighs higher at 195 grams. With a similar SoC and operating system, it energizes using a 4700mAh battery with upgraded 45W fast charging.
Essential features are identical on both models: Dex support, 5G dual SIM, BT 5.3, Wireless reverse charge, wireless 10W charging, IP68 resistance, KNOX security, and barometer. S23 and S23 Plus will come in shades of Black, Cotton, Green, and Violet.
