Amidst the growing buzz surrounding Samsung's Fan Edition (FE) devices, the upcoming release of the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is generating most of the anticipation. As a follow-up to the successful Galaxy S20 FE and S21 FE, this iteration aims to continue the trend of noteworthy performance at affordable pricing.

Renowned leaker Yogesh Brar has unveiled a comprehensive list of specs for the Galaxy S23 FE, shedding light on its anticipated features. The smartphone will likely sport a 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution. The screen will feature a 120Hz refresh rate, delivering supreme animations and interactions.

Nestled beneath the stunning display lies a 10MP selfie camera, echoing the configuration of the S22 and S22 Plus from the previous year. Turning to the back, the Galaxy S23 FE is said to boast a 50MP Primary camera, akin to its non-FE counterpart.

An intriguing twist emerges when it comes to the telephoto camera. Brar's leak suggests a 12MP telephoto lens, challenging previous expectations that the 8MP camera would serve this purpose. This shift potentially designates the 8MP camera as the Samsung flagship latest mobile's ultra-wide lens.

Under the hood, the Galaxy S23 FE is to bring a 4,500mAh battery with 25W charging and unspecified wireless input. As expected, the device will carry an IP68 rating against water and dust. The software included here will be the Android 13-based One UI 5.1, brimming with the latest Google and Galaxy features.

Samsung's commitment to updates shines through with the promise of four years of OS updates and five years of security patch support. Samsung might offer two chipset versions for the Galaxy S23 FE, catering to different regions. The smartphone will be available with either the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 from Qualcomm or Samsung's in-house Exynos 2200. The device is likely due for launch in September.
