Samsung Galaxy S23 Pack Starts Receiving the August 2023 Security Patch

August has arrived, and Samsung is wasting no time enhancing the security of its flagship phones with the monthly patch. Samsung Galaxy S23 series has commenced receiving the August 2023 security update in Thailand. While it doesn't introduce new features, it significantly bolsters the security framework of these smartphones.

 

Reports from Sammobile confirm that the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra models are underway to receive the August security patch, identified by the firmware version S91xBXXU3AWGJ. The update's official changelog highlights improvements in reliability and stability. 

While the initial information is relatively concise, more comprehensive details are anticipated to emerge as the update gradually expands to other regions, starting with South Korea. Presently, the update is exclusively available in Thailand.


However, Samsung is poised to roll it out to additional regions in the coming days, and Pakistan will likely be one of them. For those who own a Samsung flagship new models, the Galaxy S23, S23+, or S23 Ultra: access to the August update will be available through the Settings > Software update menu as soon as it becomes official in the country.


Samsung plans to initiate the Android 14 beta for the Galaxy S23 series. Reports suggest that the One UI 6.0 beta test for the latest Samsung flagships will begin this month, even though official confirmation from the brand is pending. 

The swift progression of Android 14 Betas, attaining platform stability, hints at an imminent upgrade for users in the coming weeks. The Galaxy S23 series will lead the pack in receiving the beta update, later expanding to other devices in due course.
