Samsung Galaxy S24 FE nears with each passing day. It will be along in a month or two (September 2024 if they follow the schedule of S23 FE). But right now, there are leaks and rumors afloat. We learn new things about S24 FE after every exposé. And in the latest one, there’s battery information.
Galaxy S24 FE has now passed the FCC certificate. Yes, it means the launch is close, but it also assured that the phone’s battery checked all the safety tests. 91Mobiles first spotted it in FCC’s database — an image of the battery and its true-life dimensions.
They plan to mount a 4565 mAh battery inside Galaxy S24 FE, probably advertisable as 4600mAh. It will be a 100mAh upgrade over Galaxy S23 FE’s. It doesn’t sound much on paper, true! But their software always has tricks up its sleeves for one or two hours of bonus screen time to the battery life.
A more efficient screen and efficient SoC should also make it last longer. Then we have gossip that says the Samsung's 5G new mobile, the S24 FE trails the Galaxy S24+. And not the vanilla S24 like it used to be. That is why there’s a larger screen and an upgraded battery cap.
Galaxy S24 FE could have a screen with a 6.7” diagonal like the S24 Plus. But only if that leak pans out. We have our doubts about this rumor, though. Because A, the S24 FE will cannibalize the S24 Plus sales. And B, Samsung keeps the hierarchy of each device very clear. More reports will surely comment on the matter while we wait for the launch to happen.
