Samsung Galaxy S24 FE Rolls Out Globally with Exynos 2400e Chip Across the Board

It’s been a long time waiting and after so many leaks and headlines, we finally get to say the magic words: Samsung Galaxy S24 FE has gone official in the US and some other regions. Pre-orders are now open and the first sale will be on 3rd October, at least for the places where it’s announced.

We usually see a Snapdragon variant of it in China and the US but this time, it’s Exynos 2400e across the board, though we can’t imagine it’s a big deal. This chip is the same one they used in the S24 or S24 Plus, but they did cut down the clock speeds, maybe due to temperature restraints.

That vapor cooling system is upscaled here, 10% larger than S23 FE’s; a smart decision on Samsung’s part because it’s a Glass/Aluminum slab prone to getting hot. And amid the upgrades, we need to count the battery upsized by 200mAh for a full 4700mAh cell, 25W wired plus 15W Qi wireless charging.

There’s even a better Gorilla Glass Victus+ shield on the Samsung 5G new mobile’s 6.7” AMOLED 2x panel, but it’s not LTPO. It will be a 120Hz 1080p resolution screen that gets you HDR10+ and about 1900 nits brightness under direct sun, and this time it has even thinner bezels.

Maybe the sensor types are better, but the megapixel count from S23 FE to S24 FE hasn’t changed at all and they kept the old 50 MP + 12 MP (ultrawide) + 8 MP telephoto + 10 MP (Selfie) config going with this version as well.

It’s on Android 14 right now out of the factory, but they promised 7 years of OS support so you’ll be set until 2031. And yes, this does have Galaxy AI and all the associated AI stuff like the other Samsung flagships, plus, from what we hear, this phone’s base price is $650 (~PKR 180,000).
