Samsung has pulled the curtain back from its third Beta update for Android 15 x One UI 7.0, but only for Galaxy S24 users locked into the testing program. This version irons out some bugs, fixes stability issues, and refines the UI and operation even more, so we might see the One UI 7.0 in a more stable shape than ever.

We have scoured some details about the new One UI 7.0 beta, ChanceLog, and update size which will pique interest for some of you. This update demands 1.2GB storage on your Galaxy S24. Of course, it’s a big number, but it also reflects some big changes you are about to read from the changelog.

One UI 7 3rd Beta will have better vertical scrolling in the app drawer, and the signature edge panel fixed the bug where tools were not displaying. Game Booster is another function this update covered, patching some bugs. The changelog mentioned three specific issues in the last update that needed looking and Samsung fixed them.

This update changed the screen playback default setting in Game Booster. It even switched the FPS setting name and max value. The Samsung rate list could be relevant for those comparing features. And, on top of that, the default scanning rate is 120Hz in this patched Gamebooster. MMS images in the Samsung message app have a “modify the exception” state.

Quick Panel closing operation is also tweaked. There’s a fix for the lock screen/AOD/status bar battery icon, and notification icon alignment error. The lock screen edit feature has improved even more, and the shortcuts won’t disappear from the lock screen anymore. Routine+ will no longer have volume key operation errors. One UI 7.0 has some more fixes in the latest beta, but they weren’t specified.
