Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S24 launch event is causing a surge in leaks. Today, we get to look at some key AI features expected to grace the Samsung Galaxy S24 lineup. Shared by X/Twitter user @MysteryLupin, the leaked marketing material sheds light on numerous exciting details.
Among the notable AI features is "Live Translate," which suggests real-time translation during phone calls. It has the potential to break down language barriers for seamless conversations with anyone.
Another notable addition is the "Generative Edit" tool, similar to Google's Magic Editor. This feature allows users to eliminate unwanted objects or fill empty spaces in photos with AI. Notably, "Generative Edit" relies on an internet connection and a Samsung account.
Additional features mentioned in the leak include "Nightography Zoom," enhancing low-light photos when zoomed in, and "High Resolution," enabling users to capture pictures in the highest resolution supported by the primary camera of the Samsung latest flagship model.
The latter translates to 50MP unbinned resolution for the Galaxy S24 and a whopping 200MP for the S24 and S24 Ultra. The "Screen Display" feature is highlighted for a "brighter, flatter screen" to enhance viewing and interaction, likely hinting at the S24 Ultra.
Accompanying the leak were high-resolution images of the Samsung Galaxy S24 series; however, they were promptly removed, potentially due to Samsung's clampdown on leaks. Despite this, earlier leaks and a briefly visible confirmation on Samsung's website hint at a January 17 launch event for these devices.
