Samsung Galaxy S24 Series to Advance Further in Zoom Photography

Samsung, the Korean giant renowned for its cutting-edge flagship devices, continues to push the boundaries of smartphone photography. The recent Galaxy S23 Ultra boasts unparalleled zooming performance, setting a new standard in that area. It goes without saying; the Samsung Galaxy S24 will take zoom photography to even greater heights.

Historically, Samsung has relied on Sony sensors for its zoom camera modules for a long time. However, recent developments suggest a potential shift in strategy. The tech giant seeks trademark protection for two brand-new zoom sensors.

Samsung has produced a multitude of ISOCELL sensors to date, but none have been designed explicitly for zooming or telephoto capabilities. However, with the release of their new sensors, Samsung may be able to break free from their dependence on Sony sensors for their Zoom cameras.

It marks a significant milestone in Samsung's history as they endeavor to take complete control of their smartphone camera technology. Moreover, Industry rumors have hinted at a variable zoom sensor in the Samsung 5G latest mobile, which might advance the setup to 150x amplification.

The rumor mill's likely pointing at these new ISOCELL sensors, the driving force behind these remarkable zooming capabilities. There's no official confirmation about that decision yet. It's also to unravel whether the change is consistent with the entire S24 series or just the Ultra.

The rumor mill is still piecing the details together. However plausible today's report seems, we suggest taking it with a hint of sarcasm, as the new ISOCELL sensor might be in the works for phones farther in the future after the S24 series. We'll add a report if anything new develops.
