Samsung’s upcoming flagship lineup will likely break cover in the first quarter of 2024. As per the leaked info by Ice Universe, Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to feature the same 200MP Samsung HP2 primary camera as the current S23; however, minimal changes are imminent. Let’s have a look.

Alongside the impressive 200MP primary sensor, the S24 Ultra will sport a 12MP Sony IMX564 ultra-wide lens and a 10MP Sony IMX754-plus telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. These camera specifications mirror those found in the rear camera setup of its predecessor, the Galaxy S23 Ultra.

However, the S24 Ultra aims to modify the secondary camera module. This time, It will have an enhanced 10MP IMX754-Plus periscope telephoto, now boasting 10x optical zoom. With that significant upgrade, the company will reinforce Ultra’s position as a flagship photography powerhouse.

While hardware upgrades are notable, the actual advancements in camera performance will stem from the Samsung new flagship model’s software and processing capabilities. Samsung's camera engine and cutting-edge image processing algorithms will elevate the imaging experience to an unprecedented level.

Accompanying the rear camera setup are essential components, such as an LED flash that captures well-lit shots, and a laser autofocus unit, ensuring quick and precise focusing. While its rear camera setup has leaked multiple times, details about its selfie camera remain scarce.

Regarding the processing power, the Galaxy S24 series intends to adopt Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 platform expected to debut in October this year. “Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Galaxy-Edition” is speculated to power the S24 series.

While the Snapdragon variant will likely dominate markets in Asia and North America, Samsung may opt for its in-house Exynos 2400 chipset for the European variants of the S24 series. However, there's no way to be certain until the official announcement.
