Another report hints that Samsung might commence the Galaxy S25 series on January 22nd. In the past few days with multiple leak sources, it’s almost a public consensus that the Galaxy Unpacked event is due on January 22, and now, a Korean news platform has put the final nail in the coffin.
We learn that Samsung plans to wrap up the event by January 22nd, and two days later on the 24th, the Galaxy S25 will begin pre-orders. The window for early booking might remain open till February 3rd. Presumably, on the next day, the retail deployment will begin worldwide.
Of course, their timeline for this year doesn’t coincide with the previous Unpacked event, which happened on January 31st and dragged the pre-orders till mid-February. Word on the street is that the new schedule is strategic for Samsung to meet the competition head-on.
Another leak quickly gaining credibility is a Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim, making it to the stage with the rest of the trio. Yes! There’s a chance that the Galaxy S25 series will have four members this time, instead of the typical three. It’s beyond doubt that the Galaxy S25 Slim exists, after the IMEI certification.
Galaxy AI has been a major hit for Samsung, so, the next phones might be doubling down on it. The special sauce for this year’s lineup is Snapdragon 8 Elite, which is by far the most superior NPU. That chip and the expected 16 GB RAM upgrade should make the onboard AI faster and more efficient.
