Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim to Debut Next Year, Testing the Waters for S26 Design

Galaxy Alpha was a Samsung project, betting its entire existence on the slimness factor in 2014, and it was about a 6.7mm very slender handset. In 2015, that phone later became the inspiration for the Galaxy S6. They might probably do the same thing next year.

Industry insiders are speculating a handset that could be a Galaxy S25 Slim model coming next year, right after they deal with the normal Galaxy S25 lineup. They will try to squeeze in the hardware of one of the Galaxy S25 phones into a slimmer casing.

Galaxy S25 Slim will come a few months after their Galaxy S25 series debut, of course, with the caution of it being a speculative claim. But, we saw the same thing happen with Galaxy Z Fold SE this year, so the leak about S25 Slim might not be too far off the mark.

Z Fold SE also banked on its slimness factor alone for all its hype, and it was a big hit when it launched. There’s a chance that Samsung's future flagship will make just as big an impact if not more. Still, there are some suspicions that it will cannibalize the sales of standard Galaxy phones.

We saw a report earlier from The Elec, and it has been causing a lot of commotion in the Samsung community. It is said that the Galaxy S25 Slim might be in the works to replace the Galaxy S25 FE, so there’s a lot of uncertainty around the outcomes if they pull it off.
