Another leak about the Galaxy S25 family shows what’s coming next from Samsung. The Unpacked event for the new series is just around the corner, likely due on January 22nd, and interesting details are coming out daily in the little time we have left.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra leaked with some key specs recently. The source behind this leak is usually reliable and might have accurately predicted the details here. His first clue about the Galaxy S25 Ultra is also an obvious one. This phone has the latest from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 8 Elite engine at the helm.

Samsung might stick a Dynamic AMOLED 2x LTPO panel on top of Galaxy S25 Ultra, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a typical HDR10+ support. This screen will peak at 2600nits brightness, just like the old Galaxy S24 Ultra. Nothing was mentioned about its size in the leak, but the dimensions might change due to the new design.

The leaker also says the S25 Ultra measured 162.8mm long, 77.6mm wide, and 8.2mm thick. This is an improvement since the old S24 Ultra was 8.6mm in profile. Samsung's latest 5G mobile will also be taller and narrower, but only if these numbers are accurate. In the leak, the source also speculates its weight at 219 grams, somewhat lighter than the previous build.

S25 Ultra might offer us the same base RAM at 12 GB, but the peak RAM capacity gets an uptick this year at 16 GB, paired with 512 GB or 1 TB storage. 45W super fast charging is the same as before, but the 25W wireless charging could be the main upgrade. We’ll see how accurate these details are as soon as the company officially announces the S25 lineup on 22nd January.
