We feel Samsung has stopped innovating now. And they probably went down a safer path of refining the older makes generation after generation. But is that going to change this time with the Galaxy S25 Ultra? That's no doubt the question on your mind right now. Tech blogger IceUniverse gave his two cents about it in a leak yesterday.
He's positive the next Galaxy S25 Ultra will get unbelievable upgrades. Or at least that will be the case in its camera department. You will see the quad camera system, like always. And a 200 MP first camera, no doubt. But within the S25 Ultra is now a high-res 50 MP ultrawide shooter.
Telephoto shooters are also switching up, not only the Ultrawide. Those quad-cam setups of the Ultra phones always have two telephoto shooters. Different magnifications from each of them would result in more freedom to click pictures. But the quality of those pictures wouldn't be the same as the 200 MP first camera.
IceUniverse claims that Samsung will try to put 50 MP 3x and 50 MP 5x telephoto cameras on the S25 Ultra's back. And all the cameras on its rear will become more cohesive this way. You will be able to snap better zoom shots and ultrawide. But only if this leak about the Samsung new flagship smartphone pans out.
Samsung mostly tries to play it safe. So there's no telling what might happen next. We might even see a design switch with this series. The chief design engineer of Mercedes Benz China may be working with Samsung. And his goal is to evolve the looks of the S series. Everyone's eager to see how that goes.
