A leaker recently came forward with an image confirming the date for Samsung’s Unpacked Event 2025. Evan Blass sourced the leak from an Italian marketing image for the next Galaxy Unpacked, where Samsung might reveal the entire Galaxy S25 lineup, with a possible Galaxy S25 Slim Edition.
The image in question slated 22nd January as the day for next year’s first Galaxy Unpacked event for Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, S25 Ultra, and S25 Slim. Of course, the information has yet to go public via Samsung, so the leaked post on X was taken down almost immediately.
Another leaker revealed some more details about the event. San Jose, California could be the location for the event venue, and according to this leak, it will happen exactly at 10 AM Pacific Time. X leaker @sondesix also gave a list of devices taking to the stage.
We know about the incoming Galaxy trio, but it would seem Samsung might also tease the “Project Moohan” XR headset. The second leak doesn’t say anything about the Galaxy S25 Slim. This leak nullifies all the previous reports about the Unpacked event commencing in early January.
Multiple reports put the suspicion to rest. The event might happen in late January with pre-orders beginning at the get-go and shipment taking off sometime after. We’ll be hearing about the event from Samsung any day now, with the launch only a few weeks away.
