Samsung Galaxy Z Flip FE Might Borrow the Front Display from Galaxy Z Flip 6

There’s no doubt that the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the future Galaxy Z Flip FE will share some similarities, but the question on everyone’s mind right now is how much? We came across a leak yesterday that partially answers it, and you might like to know where it’s headed.

The display supply chain analyst Ross Young reported his findings on X, saying that Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Flip FE have the same foldable AMOLED, size, resolution, and everything else in terms of the screen. If this is the case, we can look forward to the same dimensions as well.

Z Flip 6 debuted with a tall aspect-ratio FHD+ massive 6.7” display. It’s an LTPO AMOLED, which means a variable 120Hz refresh rate, and the pixels here are densely packed at 426ppi. Flip 6 also has an eye-popping brightness of 2600 nits, plenty bright and readable under the sun.

The Samsung new Folding model isn’t meant to be a generational upgrade, so borrowing the screen from the current Flip Champ is the right move. Ross Young didn’t mention if the cover screen is common across both phones, but the Flip 6’s 3.4” sAMOLED 720p outer screen will be a solid addition for Flip FE.

A viral leak from a month ago exposed the Flip FE with an older Exynos 2400e SoC, but recent information contradicts that theory. Z Flip FE and Flip 7 may be the first devices with an Exynos 2500 chip. This topic needs more clarification but for now, we look forward to the Flip 6 sharing its display with the Flip FE.
