Samsung Galaxy Z Flip FE is on the horizon and might launch soon. A Chinese certification revealed details about its charging speeds and connectivity just yesterday. Meanwhile, the rumor mill claims it could launch after the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Fold 7 unveiling in September. Here’s everything we’ve found so far about the Galaxy Z Flip FE.
There’s no room for doubt now that 3C has confirmed the Z Flip FE exists and it’s on the way to China. The regulator tested and approved the Flip FE’s charging and connectivity support and, in the process, even revealed the EP-TA800 travel adapter intended for this device.
We can now confirm that the Galaxy Z Flip FE will only allow up to 25W charging. This report came right on the heels of Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Fold 7 certifications a few days ago, which also have 25W max input. 3C addressed this device with the model code SM-F7610, which is believed to be the Flip FE. The Flip 7 is already assigned a district model number “SM-F7660.”
Of course, this certification also gave away its 5G network support, but the feature was already expected on the Flip FE being a flagship handset. From what we’ve seen on the internet, it’s reported that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip Fan Edition launch will be months apart, probably in the fourth quarter of 2025. Considering the Samsung price list, the Flip FE could be a more affordable entry point into the foldable segment compared to its premium siblings.
There’s a chance that it might launch before the Galaxy Unpacked in September, but the possibility seems vanishingly small. But we expect this device positioned between the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and then upcoming Flip 7. Rumor has it that the Flip FE will be the first device to use an Exynos 2500 chip based on Samsung’s 3nm node.
Samsung was unable to optimize this chip to be used with the Galaxy S25 series, but it should be ready until the Galaxy Z Flip FE launch. At any rate, we should be getting a flagship-grade performance out of this device. It should bring the latest Android 15 OS with One UI 7 and the same 7-year update support as the Galaxy S25 lineup. If you found the Galaxy Z Flip FE interesting, stick around for future updates, certifications, and leaks.
