Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 5G made its official debut, alongside the Galaxy Buds2, at the Unpacked event today. The latest clamshell Galaxy is sleeker and more durable than ever. Plus, Samsung has also extended the Z Flip3 color palette to include no less than seven shades.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3

The new Flip features a flatter, more squared-off design this year.  Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 is painted in a duotone finish. A wide black flush bar is contrasted with Cream, Green, Lavender, Black, Gray, Pink, and White.

It folds into a compact footprint. On the side, a fingerprint scanner is embedded inside the frame. The device is protected with Gorilla Glass Victus and IPX8 water resistance. Plus, the frame sports Armor Aluminum.

The cover display on the back has grown 4x in size. It’s a 1.9” SuperAMOLED panel that can show notification alerts, a selfie viewfinder, and widgets. Flip the Galaxy Z Flip3 open to find a tall 22:9 Dynamic Flex AMOLED display. It’s a 6.7” panel that delivers a Full HD resolution at an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate.

The Z Flip3 features a 123° 12MP ultra-wide lens and a 12MP f/1.8 wide camera assisted with optical image stabilization. The 10MP front camera is housed inside a centered hole punch. You can take hands-free portraits in Flex Mode, and the Flip3 auto frames the shots for you.

It’s all powered by a 5nm flagship chip and a 3300 mAh battery. You get 8GB of memory and 128GB/256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Android11-based OneUI 3 runs on the Galaxy Z Flip3 out of the box. The OS is also optimized this year for the foldable form factor.

The Galaxy Z Flip3 is now up for pre-ordering in Pakistan for $999 or Rs. 163,000 (Exclusive of all taxes.) With each pre-registration, you get a Rs. 24,000 e-voucher and Samsung Care+ for a free screen replacement.

Samsung Galaxy Buds 2

The Galaxy Buds 2 are here to replace the Galaxy Buds Plus. But they follow the design language of the Galaxy Buds Pro but featuring a lighter design. The Buds 2 support active noise cancellation; the ambient sound can be selectively filtered if you need to be aware of your surroundings. Samsung promises crisp, clear notes and deep lows.

In contrast to the Galaxy Buds Plus, the battery life of the Galaxy Buds 2 takes a hit. The Buds 2 can last five hours of uninterrupted playback with active noise cancellation turned on. When ANC is off, the TWS earbuds deliver 7.5 hours of playback. The case keeps the Buds 2 alive for up to 29 hours between charges.

The Galaxy Buds 2 are offered soft colors — dark gray, white, purple, and green. Plus, you get mild IPX2 resistance. They’re available in select markets, starting from $149.99 (~ Rs. 24,500.)
