Leaked images of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6, courtesy of the leaker Onleaks, offer a glimpse into the future of the company’s Galaxy Fold lineup. Slated for unveiling at the Galaxy Unpacked event later this year, typically held in August, the oncoming Fold 6 abounds with a significant design shift.

In the latest breaks, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is depicted with a thicker, more robust frame, moving away from the slimmer silhouette characteristic of previous models. According to rumors, the device will feature dimensions of 153.5 x 132.5 x 6.1 mm when unfolded, making it slightly shorter and wider than its predecessor, Z Fold 5.

The design cues shown in the renders draw inspiration from the Galaxy S24 Ultra, presenting a more squared-off appearance. Notable details from the mockups include a side-mounted fingerprint reader integrated into the power button, with volume controls nearby.

The SIM card tray exists on the opposite edge of the volume buttons. Moreover, the Samsung foldable new phone likely hosts three microphones, a USB-C port, and two speaker grilles at the top and bottom. The rear of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 showcases a pill-shaped camera bump with three cameras arranged vertically.

While the internal display allegedly measures 7.6 inches, the external screen will surely be 6.2 inches, featuring a center-aligned punch-hole for the selfie camera. One notable omission in the leaked renders is any indication of a dedicated storage solution for the S-Pen.

The Galaxy Z Fold 6, just like its predecessors, may not support the stylus chasm. It may use a different approach to S-pen integration. As the build-up continues, these leaks hint at a bold new direction for Samsung's foldable series, with official details likely to emerge in the months ahead.
