The all-new SamsungGalaxy Z Fold2 is available for pre-order in Pakistan and with your pre-order Samsung is throwing in a pair of Galaxy Buds Live for free. It’s the third generation of foldables from the phone maker which presents a re-engineered hinge and flagship-grade internals. Here’s a quick rundown of what it offers.
Before you unfold the Galaxy Z Fold 2, you find that the cover display has grown from 4.6” to a standard 6.23”. With more screen real-estate, the device is functional even when folded. It’s an AMOLED screen with an odd 25:9 aspect ratio and a hole punch.
The Z Fold2 unfolds to reveal a 7.6” AMOLED screen made of Samsung’s UTG (Ultra Thin Glass) material. It produces a QHD+ resolution and a dynamic 120Hz refresh rate. The intrusive wedge notch has been lopped off and replaced with a hole punch just off-center.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2’s new hinge supports flex mode at multiple angles thanks to the new ‘CAM Technology’. It allows for hands-free video calling, watching media, and the ‘Flex Mode’ in the camera app that captures shots from unique angles and timelapse videos. It also has built-in bristles to keep dust and debris out. All of that at a hefty Samsung mobile price tag.
The specs under the hood have been bumped up too. Qualcomm’s top-of-the-line Snapdragon 865+ powers the Galaxy Z Fold2, paired with 12GB of memory and 512GB/256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The 4500 mAh battery is split into two cells and charges over 25W on wired and 11W on the wireless. Plus, there’s support for reverse wireless charging. Samsung’s OneUI 2.5 optimized for this unique hybrid form factor delivers the software experience.
The triple-camera is now housed inside an oversized, much more polished plate that juts out the back. It features three 12MP sensors for ultra-wide-angle, telephoto, and standard shooting. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 uses PDAF and OIS on both the main and telephoto lens. You can also take high-quality selfies with these lenses. Not to mention the 10MP front cameras in the two hole-punch cutouts.
