Via a press release in August 2022, Samsung made its sub-entry-level Galaxy A04 official. In 2022’s final days, it debuted in Asia for the first time. A04’s launch trajectory hinted at its imminent arrival in Pakistan too. Almost two months have passed, and the day is finally here. Galaxy A04 is now official in Pakistan; here’s everything you need to know.

A04 is a plastic glass sandwich with no coherence to its expensive sibling A14. The phone carries beveled sides, chunky bezels, intrusive drop-notch, bloated chin, and a dual-camera setup. Its design is what you would expect from a super low-cost device. Though, the specs are somewhat generous.

Starting with the cameras, you will find A04 with a 50MP sensor under the primary lens and a 2MP depth of field mapper in the secondary. Under the notched header, the screen hides a 5MP selfie shooter. Since both cameras are Samsung-calibrated, they should produce quality images in super-lit environments.

Galaxy A04 has a 6.5-inch PLS IPS display with a 720 x 1600 pixels resolution. The screen is not the most advanced, but it gets things done. The device is also light, weighing only 192 grams, making it convenient to carry around.

Released variants in Pakistan limit RAM/ROM to 3 GB/32 GB and 4 GB/64 GB. Compared to global variants, the options here are limited. MediaTek Helio P35 engine runs under its helm, providing it with decent-ish performance. You will find some hitches here and there, but for the most part, it will get the job done.

Powered by a 5000mAh cell, Galaxy A04 runs Android 12 right out of the box. It recharges using a 15W plug. Its starting price in Pakistan is shockingly high, costing Rs 37,500 for the 3/32GB variant and Rs 43,500 for the 4/64GB option.
