Alongside the Tecno Camon 40 series, another announcement from Transsion Holdings is the upcoming debut of the company’s first-ever AI Smart Glasses. This will be a part of the “Tecno AI Ecosystem Product Launch” at the MWC 2025 event (March 3rd). AI Glasses and AI Glasses Pro with built-in AI assistant were recently teased by the company, and here’s what we found.

The same Tecno AI that powers the mobile devices will also show up inside these new smart glasses. The built-in artificial intelligence will help with object recognition, information summarization, tourist information, and even recommendations with the AI Glasses.

We hear AI Glasses Pro has even more features to offer with some Augmented Reality apps and real-time navigation. The company didn’t reveal the specifics. We won’t find the device’s true nature until the MWC event, but at least both products were shown in renders, which might help you connect the dots.

Tecno has already confirmed that AI Glasses and Glasses Pro are made of an Aluminium Alloy layered with a lightweight composite material to keep their heft in check. They are just as light as your regular pair of sunglasses, says the official press release from Tecno.

These two products will come in Eyebrow and Aviator style frames with minimal and low-key appearance, which should fit well among your routine accessories, like Smartwatches and Earpods. Speaking of which, there are two more wearable products nearing launch at the MWC.

Tecno True2 earbuds and Watch GT 1 will take to the stage on March 3rd with all the other AI products. The press release touted these products without giving up the specifics. We might need to wait till the official launch for specs and other details like pricing and availability.

This is turning out to be an exciting event for Tecno fans. The keynote is now expected to feature the Tecno AI alongside flagship products like the Camon 40 series, a Tecno Spark Slim concept, AI Glasses, MegaBook laptops, and a couple of wearable accessories. We’ll be keeping a close eye on all these devices and keep you in the loop with daily reports and headlines. So stay tuned!
