Exciting news for all you Tecno fans out there; the company has finally decided to shrink the Tecno phone prices of several of their high-end (Camon), Gaming (POVA), and value-friendly (POP & Spark) series handsets. Recently, all devices launched by Tecno got absurdly overpriced for the hardware they offered due to the weakening PKR currency over PKR/USD strain.
In this time of sordidly expensive handsets, the now-confirmed discounted price of Tecno Camon 19 Neo is a glimmer of hope. It was retailing for PKR 40,999, and now it's been knocked down to a reasonable PKR 37,999 tag. The change is permanent, and the phone is only getting cheaper from this point onward.
For perspective's sake, if this device, featuring Helio G85 SoC, and 6GB RAM + 128GB Storage capacity, were aired in 2021, its price would have been around twenty-five to thirty thousand PKR. That's why the price bumps this year are majorly inconvenient for buyers.
Recapping its features, Tecno Camon 19 Neo rocks a boxy-flat edge design with a side-mounted fingerprint unlocker. A punch-hole camera upfront using a 32MP sensor is lying on top of a 6.78-inch screen. It's an IPS display panel with a Full HD+ resolution.
There's an abstract pattern on the lower back of the phone with Camon branding etched on the bottom left corner. Now the camera design here is something entirely different. You are looking at two circular units extruding from the fuselage. One has a primary 48MP sensor inside, while the other has two (depth+QVGA) sensors.
Tecno Camon 19 Neo welcomes you to the Android 12 x HIOS 8.6 flavored home screen. At the center of all that hardware, there's a 5000mAh battery juicing up the handset. Special features include 18W charging support, a USB-C 2.2 port, fingerprint security, and three color shades Eco Black, Ice Mirror, and Dreamland Green.
