Tecno recently debuted the new Camon lineup in Pakistan with Tecno Camon 19 Neo. And as per our internal sources, the Camon 19 Pro Mondrian Edition is next in line for the Pakistani market. The handset was globally unveiled during a press release in Boston’s Museum of Fine Arts. The Mondrian Edition stands tall from the crowd due to its artistic color-shifting rear panel, here’s a quick rundown.
The all-new Tecno Camon 19 Pro Mondrian Edition is expected to arrive next month in Pakistan after the independence day celebrations. Tipped to arrive with a price tag of Rs. 49,999, the handset boasts a smooth white finish with boxy patterns all around the back. But when exposed to light, the same rear shell changes color thanks to the polychromatic photo-isomer technology.
The color scheme and design are inspired by the Dutch painter Piet Mondrian’s work. The MFA has also granted a promotional license to Camon 19 Pro ME. Two vertically placed diamond twin camera modules on the rear carry its triple lens system, which is another highlight of the Mondrian Edition.
A 64MP lens on the upcoming addition to the Tecno price catalog acts as the primary camera with OIS and Laser Auto Focus. There’s also a 50MP 2X zoom telephoto lens with a 2MP depth sensor and a quad-LED flash. Features like OIS+EIS stabilization, Portrait video, HDR video, and True tone night mode enhance the camera experience.
The Camon 19 Pro ME utilizes a large 6.8’’ Full HD+ IPS panel as its display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This screen also houses a 32MP Pro selfie camera with AI beauty enhancements in a punch hole cutout.
A MediaTek Helio G69 SoC drives the phone aided by the Mali G57 MP2 GPU. The handset boots up with Android 12-based HiOS 8.6. There’s a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 33W Flash charging. 5GB of RAM expansion is also available in the device. Dual SIM support, Type C connectivity, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor round off the hardware. The Camon 19 Pro Mondrian Edition is tipped to cost around Rs. 49,999 in Pakistan.
