We recently covered the New York launch event of the Camon 19 Series, where Tecno unveiled the Camon 19, 19 Neo, 19 Pro, and Camon 19 Pro 5G. The new lineup is already available in Africa and now the brand is gearing up to spread out the Camon 19 family to Asian countries, including Pakistan. The Camon 19 and Camon 19 Neo are the most expected at the moment as they were recently teased for an Indian launch.

The vanilla Camon 19 packs a 12nm Helio G85 SoC under the chassis with up to 6GB RAM (extendable to 11GB) and 128GB internal storage expandable via a MicroSD card. A Full HD+ IPS Panel is on the front, measuring 6.8 inches it's an LCD display featuring a pixel density of 395 ppi.
Tecno's Camon 19 does not feature a shiny RGBW camera sensor as the Pro variant but bags a decent triple-lens setup comprising of a 64MP wide, 2MP depth, and a QVGA camera. A 16MP lens sits behind the centrally punch-holed selfie shooter.
The Camon 19 is powered by a large 5,000 mAh battery supporting 18W Flash charging. There’s a side-mounted thumbprint scanner embedded in the power button, Android 12 with HIOS 8.6, NFC, and USB Type-C connectivity. It comes in Eco Black, Sea Salt White, and Digital Green colors.
Tecno Camon 19 Neo
The 19 Neo boasts similar internals to the regular 19. It features the exact display with a thicker chin. The primary lens degrades to 48MP while the other two sensors remain identical. However, the front camera gets bumped up to 32MP in the 19 Neo.
Camon 19 Neo is also available in Eco Black color but introduces new Ice Mirror, and Dreamland Green finishes. Other specifications, including the design, battery, and charging speed, are also ditto of the Camon 19
The Tecno Camon 19 Neo is the most budget-friendly handset in the upcoming series and is expected to cost around Rs. 35,000 to 40,000 PKR. The official launch Timeline of these handsets is still unclear, so we'll have to wait for the official announcement.
