With the global launch of Tecno’s latest Camon round-up, we saw three new variants pop up in overseas markets. Among them, the most affordable one was Tecno Camon 30 and the same phone is now going official in the Pakistani market. The model launched in our region is the highest tier 12GB + 256GB option.
Tecno has classed up the design aesthetics of its phones this year. The Camon 30 is essentially a baseline option among its premium siblings. We’re looking at the same trendy, flat-edge design but the specs are trimmed slightly.
Over the top, the new Tecno mobile has a hole punch sitting in the center of the display. It’s a 6.78-inch and 120Hz AMOLED panel. The bezel is uniform and extremely thin all around. And the 50MP camera housed inside the display cutout is ultra-clear. Plus, AI magic makes your portraits pop even more.
The Tecno Camon latest model features a gimbal-based OIS integration and a depth mapper. Its main camera system is a standard affair of 50MP wide and a 2MP depth mapper. The lenses hide inside a circular glass topography with a flash and 2 dummy units serving to unify the design with other members.
Inside the Tecno Camon 30, we find the MediaTek Helio G99 Ultimate and a 5000 mAh battery. The budget gaming chip delivers respectable performance for the price. Plus, 70W power support cuts down on charging times.
The Camon 30 comes in a single 12GB/256GB option with Android 14 and Tecno’s custom UI powers the software. It's available in Pakistan at a refreshing price of Rs 62,999 and completely justifies the premium tag, at least in terms of camera and display.
