Tecno, the Transsion smartphone manufacturer, is gearing up for the Camon 30 Premier launch, heir to last year’s appraised Camon 20 Premier. The latest development comes from the TUV certification website, revealing significant details about the upcoming device.
The TUV documents disclose that the Tecno Camon 30 Premier will pack a robust 4,900mAh battery, apt for extended usage. Although the certification confirms the presence of a USB-C port for charging + accessories, details regarding the charging speed remain undisclosed for now.
Earlier certifications hinted at powerful specifications for the Camon 30 Premier, including a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor and 12GB of RAM. Notably, the company might introduce multiple RAM configurations during the official launch.
Geekbench results showcased the Tecno Camon new model's prowess, scoring 529 points in the single-core test and 1355 points in the multi-core test. While the device appeared on Geekbench running Android 13, there's speculation that Tecno might ship the smartphone with Android 14 straight out of the box.
The Camon 20 Premier set a precedent by being the first non-Pixel smartphone to receive an Android 14 OS update in October, a grand milestone for the company. You can expect the Camon 30 premier to continue the legacy.
Additionally, Bluetooth SIG certification confirms Bluetooth 5.3 support for connectivity, adding to the device's modern features. Although Tecno has not officially announced the launch date, these certifications hint that the release of the Camon 30 Premier is imminent. The rumor mill anticipates the official unveiling to happen anytime in a month or two.
