Transition holdings has announced a price cut on Tecno Camon 30 and it is cheaper now than ever. We’ve seen this handset retail in the Pakistani market at Rs 54,000 and above, but as of today, you’ll only need to pay Rs 49,999, per the official announcement.
Camon 30’s (8 GB + 256 GB) trim scores a 4000 rupee discount today. The 12 GB RAM variant keeps the same old price tag until further notice. The handset’s new retail price changes everything, as it falls into an entirely different segment with specs that are considered midrange or above.
Camon 30 is an AMOLED device with a flat 6.78” panel. It is massive, and we get a 1080p resolution here with a maximum 120Hz refresh rate on the screen for fluid animations. The screen even has an Always-on-Display, which a few years back, was only available in flagship phones.
It can push 1080 pixels at 120Hz because of the beefy Helio G99 Ultimate SoC. This chip in the Tecno New Camon model runs at a 2.2GHz clock frequency and is built around an 8-core 6nm architecture. This chip can handle Android 14 and a light system like HiOS without struggle.
This device might boot to an Android 14 system as default, but Tecno also promised 2-year OS updates. So, it’s good for OS support until Android 16. And to run this phone, they used a 5000mAh battery inside it. The capacity is standard among such devices, and the phone gives you 70W fast charging for backup.
Camon 30 has a 50 MP sensor on the front for selfies, one 50 MP shooter on the back with OIS, and a 2 MP portrait assistant. These are some impressive cameras, and being priced under 50k, we see no other brand in Pakistan dare offer such amazing hardware. Let’s not forget that the Camon 30 also has Dual-LED Flashes on the front and the back.
There are additional options like the NFC contactless payments or even dual speakers, all rolled into one 7.7mm flat frame. It even has a great selection of colors: Iceland Basaltic Dark, Uyuni Salt White, and Sahara Sand Brown. Tecno Camon 30 Pro price might seem a bit on the higher side, but discounted retail tag of Rs 49,999 is a steal for Camon 30 (8/256GB).
