Tecno is gearing up to launch its latest Camon 30 series in Pakistan, with the anticipated release date set for April 30th. The lineup doing rounds in the global market includes three variants: the Camon 30 Pro 5G, Camon 30 5G, and Camon 30 4G, each offering unique features tailored to different user preferences.
The same variants might reach Pakistan by the end of this month, with expectations of a flagship Camon 30 Premier joining the foray at the time of debut. But the details about that remain unconfirmed for now. In the meantime, here’s what you can expect from the lineup.
Tecno Camon 30 Pro 5G
The semi-flagship of the series, the Camon 30 Pro 5G, boasts impressive specifications, including the powerful Dimensity 8200 Ultra chipset that clocks at a max 3.1GHz frequency. It’s a 4nm modern processor hosting an ARM Mali-G610 MP6 integrated GPU.
It features a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), complemented by a 50MP ultra-wide lens and a 50MP selfie camera with autofocus. So its highlight and main selling point will be the triple 50MP camera array.
While lacking a periscope lens, it retains a high-quality display with a 144Hz refresh rate, a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED, and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. The device uses a 5,000mAh battery with 70W fast charging for quick power up and prolonged usage.
Tecno Camon 30 5G
The Camon 30 5G offers balanced performance and affordability, featuring a Dimensity 7020 chipset and a 120Hz refresh rate AMOLED display. The screen size remains similar to Camon 30 Pro at 6.78 inches with Full HD+ resolution.
Camon 30 5G maintains the 50MP selfie camera and 5,000mAh battery with 70W fast charging found in the Pro variant. However, the rear camera setup differs, with a different 50MP sensor and the absence of an ultra-wide lens — the secondary lens changes to 2MP depth.
Nevertheless, it retains stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and an IR remote control feature. It comes with Android 14 x HiOS 14 and embeds an under-display optical fingerprint reader similar to its high-ranking sibling.
Tecno Camon 30
The Camon 30 is the most affordable option in the series, powered by the Helio G99 chipset for reliable performance. It shares many features with the 5G model, including the 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Aligning with other variants, the Camon 30 4G also has a 5,000mAh battery with 70W fast charging and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. However, it lacks NFC functionality. At the same time, it offers a camera setup mirroring the 5G variant.
All three models of the Camon 30 series come in two versions – one with a glass back and one with a vegan leather back, providing users with additional customization options. These devices in Pakistan will offer consumers a diverse platter to suit their preferences and budgets.
