Camon 30 and Camon 30 Pro are present in Pakistan already, and there’s even a LOEWE reboot of both phones you can pick, so the series is stuffed as is, but we hear about a new Tecno Camon 30S phone that’s about to join them in our local market. All the others have flat designs, but this newcomer will not.
They will use a curving screen for Camon 30S, 120Hz 6.78” AMOLED, almost akin to the parameters we have already seen on Spark 20 Pro+, even the 1080p resolution will be there. But this one may be a tad stronger due to its Helio G100, and that’s the only thing they promoted here.
That front camera here is 13 MP; far worse than all other Camon 30s and their 50MP selfie units. But that’s probably the only corner they cut to dub it an ‘S’ phone, seeing that this Camon 30S does keep the very familiar 50 MP + 2 MP setup on the back.
There’s even a 33W supercharging for that 5000mAh cell in the Tecno new Camon model, and everything rolled into a 7.6mm chassis, so it’s already the thinnest one in the family. There are no signs of a HiOS Android 15, so this will be stuck at Android 14 for the moment at least.
There will be a fingerprint on the screen for obvious reasons, and two flash LEDs on the top edge above that panel. And they might even chuck in a pair of stereo speakers to top it all off. There’s no guess yet about its price, but the Camon 30S will probably be a phone of 8/256GB painted in Celestial Black/Dawn Gold/Nebula Violet hues.
