Tecno will attend the Barcelona MWC event 2025, which begins on March 3rd. There was silence on the specifics and the intended products earlier, but today we finally got the confirmation. A flagship Smartphone series and a laptop are due shortly. Keeping the laptop aside, the Chinese phone maker, Transsion, intends to reveal the Tecno Camon 40 Pro and siblings there.

We’ve known for a while that Tecno is working on next-gen Camon devices, and surely enough, the company has now teased the design of the Camon 40 series before the event. As you can see in the images, there are at least two devices in the banner, though exact product names are still missing. If we had to guess, the handsets shown in the image might be Tecno Camon 40 and Camon 40 Pro.

Tecno AI will be a huge part of the user experience on these devices. The term AI-enhanced photography keeps popping up in the headlines, which means Tecno will focus on software optimizations for the camera at last. New designs also seem to be geared around that particular area.

While we are on the subject, you should also know that the Tecno Camon 40 series will use a dedicated camera button for the first time, and it could make imaging far more intuitive on these devices. This was confirmed in the teasers as well, and if you look closely, you can also see a red button on the phone’s left side. It will be interesting to see how it is positioned in the Tecno rate list

It’s no surprise that Tecno is going with MediaTek chips for these devices. Tecno mentioned MTK by name, though the chipset versions weren’t specified to maintain intrigue. The Camon 40 series will be the main course, but of course, more products will show up on stage.

Tecno wants to debut what they call “the World’s lightest 14” OLED laptop.” The MegaBook S14 will also feature Tecno AI, making it a part of the brand’s productivity suite. Even more intriguing are Tecno AI Glasses and AI Glasses Pro, which will debut alongside the laptop.

The Chinese manufacturer might stagger the launch at MWC 2025, revealing the Tecno Camon 40 Series on March 3rd, and follow it up with their AI Ecosystem Product Launch the next day. We’ll try to find more details about these products and keep you in the loop.
