Tecno Pova 2 is the latest entry-level gaming phone that came out in mid-June. The latest Pova offers an immersive screen and Tecno’s most powerful battery, all in an affordable package. It’s now coming to Pakistan soon along with the Tecno Phantom X, WhatMobile’s sources reported.
To review the specs, Tecno Pova 2 features a 6.9” IPS LCD. It delivers a full HD resolution, 480 nits of peak brightness, and a high touch sampling rate of 180 Hz. A single hole is punched through the center of the screen, and a slim bezel surrounds the panel.
The phone’s plastic shell with a textured finish, with a stripe running down the back, and a stretched-out camera island containing four lenses. It comes in Polar Silver, Power Blue, and Dazzle Blue colors. A fingerprint scanner also rests on the back.
Four cameras, featuring a 48MP wide lens and three low-res sensors. Out on the front of the Tecno new model for 2021, there’s an 8MP selfie camera nestled inside the hole punch. Pova 2 can shoot in Super Night, portrait, and 2K time-lapse modes.
The highlight here is the performance-focused build on the Pova 2, from software to hardware. MediaTek Helio G85, a budget gaming chip, is at the heart of the phone. It’s all powered by a 7000 mAh battery that can easily last two days between charges.
Tecno’s Dual Flash Charging delivers 18W of power that charges it 20% faster than standard tech. You get 6GB of memory and 128GB of storage. Onboard the HiOS 7.6 is the ET Game Engine and Gaming Space features for better optimization. The phones on Tecno’s catalog often use the dated MicroUSB standard, but the Pova 2 offers a USB-C port. WhatMobile puts its expected price at Rs. 26,999.
