Tecno Pova 4 Pro Goes Official; Gaming-centric Design, Helio G99, and Mighty 6000mAh Cell

Following the recent launch of Tecno Pova Neo 2, the brand welcomes another sibling into the same family. Yesterday, a phone titled Tecno Pova 4 Pro went official. The phone is supposed to be a global entry, but it seems that initial sales will start from Bangladesh. Since it's a pro-POVA phone, it features some of the market's top-notch specs.


The latest Pova successor has several notable highlights, including an AMOLED display, dual speakers, and Fast Charging. With its one-of-a-kind specifications assortment, the Tecno Pova 4 Pro truly holds a competitive edge over its competitors. Let's take a closer look at its hardware manifest.

With a 6.66-inch AMOLED display, up to a 90Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution, and a dewdrop notch, Pova 4 Pro carries a multilayer graphite cooling system underneath the chassis for consistent gaming performance. In addition, the phone has gaming features like Panther Engine 2.0 and Game Space 2.0 baked into its Android 12-based HiOS operating system. 


Tecno Pova 4 Pro features MediaTek's high-performance Helio G99 SoC. It's an octa-core chipset based on TSMC's 6nm technology. The phone pairs it with 8gigs of memory and 256gigs of storage. Powered by an immense 6,000mAh battery, the handset supports 45W fast charging and 10W reverse charging.


Pova 4 Pro has a 50MP rear camera assisted by an Al sensor and a dual-LED flash living in a hexagonal camera platform on the backplate. Tecno's 4G new model has an 8MP camera on the front with a bonus face-illuminating front flash. The phone is heavier and chunkier than most, measuring 164.79 x 77 x 9.19mm.

With a single Fluorite Blue color shade, the phone costs BDT 26,990 in Bangladesh, translating to almost 57,000 Pakistani rupees. One could regard this phone as the brand's most expensive Pova phone.
