It’s been a rough ride for smartphone brands in Pakistan for the past few days (following the tax changes). Sudden price hikes are hitting Infinix and Tecno phones left and right. And the one joining the list now is the Tecno Spark 20 Pro Plus (8/256GB). We hear its price has gone up from Rs 52,000 to Rs 59,999.
But does it still hold value with an uptick of almost Rs 8,000? We have a brief overview of its specs so you can decide for yourself. They built Spark 20 Pro Plus around an AMOLED 120Hz screen. It’s 6.78” in size and curved, all premium looking.
This screen setup has added perks like 1080p resolution, in-screen fingerprint, and Alway-on-display. Corning Gorilla Glass 5 shields it from scratches and scuffs. Then there’s a 32 MP selfie shooter planted in the header. But it gets even better as we move to internals.
Helio G99 Ultimate powers this one and uses 8 GB RAM to do the heavy lifting. And no one can complain about 256 GB storage even at that new price. Tecno has gotten better at software as of late. Android 14 and HiOS meld to give this Tecno Spark new model a light UI and no lag experience.
A unique look isn’t all that camera design is good for. It fits a 108 MP primary 1/1.67” unit and a 2 MP macro. There’s no telephoto, but it has something close enough: a 3X in-sensor zoom. At the finale, we have a 5000mAh battery that plugs into a 33W charging kit.
