Tecno Spark 30 5G Bags FCC Certification; Launch Imminent with a New Design

Tecno Spark 20 is old news. We’ll soon see its replacement take the stage, and FCC has already given it a green light. Tecno Spark 30 5G hints at a nearing launch through FCC’s certification and, at the same time, spills the tea on multiple design and feature aspects.

Spark 20 from December 2023 came in a solo 4G config. It seems, this time, they’ve planned a 5G variant for its future Spark 30. ‘KL8’ is the model code FCC assigned to it. Plus, that IMIEI label reads the memory combo. This model has 8 GB RAM and up to 256 GB of storage.

Then we have the moniker as a hint of its 5G-enabled core, and knowing Tecno, it’s probably from MTK’s Dimesmity line. The model number and storage combo aren’t the only things that the FCC has ratted out. It’s clear now that the Spark 30 5G may come with only 18W charging support.

We see from the blueprints that Tecno has a new design in the works. That camera module is elliptical, and there are four silos mounted within. Of those, the larger one could be for the primary camera on the Tecno new Spark model, and the second most likely belongs to a secondary and a tertiary lens.

It’s not clear what those other silos carry. We assume there could be a Halo Light and a Flash. But, it’s an improvement over the last design. That much we can be sure of. FCC commented on its dimensions as well. And we’re looking at an 8mm thick device here, 0.5mm thin compared to the old Spark 20.
