No sign of the Tecno Camon 17 Series yet but the budget-sensitive brand is soon coming out with the new Spark 7 this week. The launch is slated for April 9. Early promos give us the phone’s design and features. We’re going to take a look at it.
When it debuts, the Tecno Spark 7 will be sold as an Amazon Exclusive in our neighboring market. Then it should head to Pakistan next, based on the release calendar of the Chinese phone-maker.
The Spark 7 has a notched front and a striped plastic shell containing a box-shaped fingerprint scanner and camera island. Two cameras are housed inside the platform. The second lens is likely designed for portrait enhancement; the primary camera has a 16MP sensor behind it.
Out on the front, the Spark 7 camera is augmented with two separate LED flashes. The image processing supports Timelapse, Bokeh, Slo-mo modes, and much more at an affordable Tecno mobile price.
The upcoming Spark 7 has a fingerprint-resistant ridged texture and ‘Tecno Spark’ stamped on the back. You can pick from green and blue shades.
The device runs on a massive 6000 mAh battery, advertised to last 41 days. We suspect the Tecno Spark 7 features an underpowered screen and chip that allow for its incredibly long battery life. It’s unclear right now if the phone can fast charge. You can also make out a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB-C port. We’ll keep you posted as the story develops.
