Tecno Spark 8C launched in Pakistan last month. It’s an entry-level phone that came earlier in two RAM+ storage variants, 3GB+64GB and 4GB+128GB. And now a comparatively cheaper 2GB+64GB variant is available in stores too.
We’ll recount all the features. But let’s start with the battery life. Powerful batteries are often the highlight of Tecno phones. And the Tecno Spark 8 Pro sibling is no exception. It has a 5000 mAh battery backup which should comfortably last more than a day on a single charge. But there’s no fast charging support.
HiOS x Android runs on this hardware. Plus, you get 2GB of memory and the so-called ‘RAM expansion’ promises a smoother user experience.
The display of the new Tecno mobile is a 6.6” 720P LCD. It’s a notched panel that refreshes at 90Hz. We’re looking at an unremarkable screen, save for the high refresh rate feature. The camera embedded in its notch is 8MP. The rear camera is 13MP with a wide f/1.8 aperture on the front. It can shoot in bokeh, AI, HDR, time-lapse video, and portrait modes. But no advanced night mode features are offered.
A capacitive instant fingerprint scanner flanks the camera system. It’s all housed inside a colossal rectangle. The casing has a pinstripe texture and comes in cyan, blue, black, and silver.
NFC enables cardless transactions. This baseline Tecno Spark 8C model starts from Rs. 17,999.
