It’s a brand new 4/128 GB variant of the same Tecno Spark Go 1 device they released in Pakistan earlier. In the beginning, it was only up for retail in a solo 4/64 GB trim, which to be honest, felt quite restricting for how great the phone is. But you can purchase it with more storage from now on.
They used an Android 14 GO system here (a less bloated version of Android 14), hence the name Spark Go 1. As it so happens, this OS needs very few resources to run smoothly, and thus 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage will be ideal.
They claim that Spark Go 1 will run lag-free, at least for the next four years, and the reason behind it could be the Unisoc T615 chip on board. Another thing Go 1 is capable of is virtual RAM that offloads some less-visited background apps and frees up the main memory.
That 6.67” panel you see on the front is a fast IPS display, and it can push the pixels at a speedy 120Hz refresh rate. There’s only an HD+ resolution here, about 227 pixels per inch, but it’s nothing to complain about if you consider the Tecno new Spark model’s sub-entry-level status.
And just a heads up, there’s only one functional lens here, home to a 13 MP rear primary camera. The other one is only for looks. You also get a selfie unit on the front: 8 MP with two LED flashes. Then we have an infrared sensor, a fingerprint reader to the side, a 5000mAh battery, and 15W charging. Spark Go 1 (4/128GB) only costs Rs 28,500 in Paksitan.
