As WhatMobile noted in a post last week, the freshly-minted brand POCO is planning on introducing the follow-up iteration to their popular Pocophone F1, dubbed POCO X2. The launch date for the upcoming model has already been confirmed by official channels to be February 4th. And in a teaser promo posted by the same channels, the phone will offer a 120 Hz screen fresh rate.

The promo itself can be found on the popular online Indian vendor, Flipkart’s landing page. It calls the refresh rate, RealityFlow 120 Hz, and is apparently built with a focus on gaming. You can also find the refresh rate of your own phone if you want, thanks to another page on the same website.

Another official teaser reveals that the Xiaomi POCO X2 will rock a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686, alongside an unnamed Qualcomm Snapdragon chip and a yet-to-be-revealed cooling system. As the launch date nears, we should learn more details about the device. So from the looks of it, the Poco X2 is shaping up to be a gaming-oriented beast in terms of performance.

Speaking of specifications, the phone has already been spotted on Geekbench, which details that the X2 will feature 8 GB of RAM and will run on an Android-10-based MIUI skin.

Related rumors claim that POCO X2 is, in fact, a rebranded Redmi K30. There might be some truth to the rumor because Redmi K30 also features a 120 Hz display refresh rate. Another side by side (pictured above) comparison lends further credibility to the rumors. Pictured below, the Poco X2 and the Redmi K30 share an identical speaker grill, headphone jack, charging port configuration.

And if that’s the case, the X2 could debut with a quad-camera setup and a pill-style dual-selfie-camera. No word on the Xiaomi Price tag but As for the internals under the hood, you might be looking at a liquid-cooled Snapdragon 730G chipset. In line with the rebranded Redmi K30 theory, you can make out a side-mounted fingerprint reader.
