The third edition of the Vivo S10 series debuted without so much as a promo, following the Vivo X70 Pro launch in Pakistan. The S10e is currently only available in China. Like the rest of the S10 series, a global launch is unlikely. The new S10e edition offers Vivo’s cutting-edge OriginOS, 5G chip, and a sleek, very modern design.
Let’s talk aesthetics first. Vivo S10e has perfectly flat, chrome edges. At 175g of weight and 7.5mm thickness, the phone is incredibly lightweight. The casing is also flat available in Watercolor, Haze, and Glass Black finishes.
Three lenses and an LED flash are embedded in a raised camera platform. It’s a cluster of 64MP wide, 8MP ultra-wide, and 2MP macro cameras. Flip the phone over to find a notched, bezel-heavy display.
It’s a 6.44” AMOLED screen that delivers a 1080P resolution and refreshes at a smooth 90Hz. the S10e in the Vivo phones price list also supports HDR10+ content. Housed inside its notch is a single 32MP front camera. And underneath the panel, we find a hidden optical fingerprint scanner.
It’s all powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 900 chip and a 4400 mAh battery. Vivo ships the S10e with a 44W quick-charging brick. OriginOS built on Android11 runs on this hardware.
Surprisingly, Vivo S10e also includes a 3.5mm audio jack — a feature that has all but disappeared from higher-end phones. You get 8GB of memory and 128GB/256GB UFS 2.1 storage. The baseline edition starts at CNY 2,399 (~ Rs. 64,400.)
