Vivo is soon introducing a brand new line of smartphones to its product catalog. Early promos for the Vivo T-series, featuring Vivo T1 and T1x, were published on Vivo China’s social media pages. Plus, the specs were leaked online.
Digital Chat Station, a phone leaker based on the microblogging platform Weibo, shares the specs and images for Vivo T1 and Vivo T1x. The Vivo T1 has a minimal two-camera system living on a chamfered shell. It’s a pair of 50MP wide and 2MP portrait cameras.
Flip the phone over to find a notched screen (and an 8MP camera inside that cutout.) It’s a 6.58” IPS LCD with a high refresh rate and a 1080P resolution.
Everything runs on the Dimensity 900, a mid-range 5G chip from MediaTek. You get a 4005 mAh battery on the Vivo's new phone model 2021, presumably with fast-charging support. The chipset works with 8GB/12GB of memory and 128GB/256GB of internal storage. Vivo has already secured a product certification for this phone under the model number ‘V2115A.’
Vivo T1x runs on Qualcomm silicon, the Snapdragon 778G to be specific. At 6.67”, the screen has larger dimensions. It also contains a centered O-hole with a higher-res 16MP front camera. The 1080P display is surrounded by an even, slim bezel.
The camera island on the phone’s shell is inspired by the still-recent Vivo X70 series. Three lenses — 64MP wide, 8MP ultra-wide, and 2MP portrait — make up the cluster inside this platform. The T1x is powered by a 5000 mAh battery and 44W flash charging. You can pick from 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB storage editions. The Vivo T1 series is slated for debut on October 19.
