The Vivo V20 series in Pakistan currently features two models, Vivo V20 and Vivo V20 SE. The third variant, V20 Pro, might soon be headed to Pakistan. Vivo is launching the phone in India in a few weeks, and given Vivo’s typical release calendar, it could arrive in Pakistan next — it would be the first 5G Vivo phone to do so.
The Vivo V20 Pro shares its beautiful AG glass design with the standard edition, plus the rear camera, battery, fast charging, and screen. The 44MP front camera has the same eye-tracking autofocus feature, but in the ‘Pro’ V20, it’s joined by an ultra-wide camera. The notch is stretched into a wedge to house the second camera. For our shutterbug readers, the phone’s selfie cameras are the big highlights here.
It also has a much faster Snapdragon 765G chipset inside, which coupled with the 8GB of memory and 128GB of storage make V20 Pro an almost-flagship. And that essentially covers what the Pro model offers. The 4000 mAh battery and 33W fast charging that powers it are both borrowed from the V20.
On the back of the phone, we have a 64MP f1.9 main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP depth-mapping sensor — virtually carried over wholesale. Vivo V20 Pro’s display identical to the vanilla V20. It’s a 6.44” OLED panel with a 1080P resolution and support for HDR10. An optical fingerprint scanner rests underneath.
And the same goes for aesthetics. Vivo centered the marketing for this series around the eye AF feature and the sleek, lightweight designs. V20 Pro has the same dimensions and weighs roughly the same too — 7.4mm thick and 170g.
The big-eye camera design is unique to Vivo, not to mention the Sunset Melody, Midnight Jazz, and Moonlight Sonata colorways. WhatMobile expects it to start anywhere from Rs. 65,000 to 69,000.
