Ahead of its upcoming release on April 29, the upcoming successor of the Vivo V20 was featured in a clip on YouTube. The ‘first impressions’ video gives us a sneak preview of the phone’s design and unboxing experience. We also have the possible specifications and pricing to report.
Published by the Tamil YouTube channel King Mobiles, the Vivo V21 5G seen in the video is a Sunset Dazzle edition. Our host starts by unboxing the contents of the V21 5G retail box: earphones, several USB cables (including a USB-C to 3.5mm jack because the V21 lacks the analog port), a clear TPU case, a 33W fast charging brick, and of course, the phone.
The matte glass back of the V21 5G shimmers in iridescent sunset hues, its frame is flat-edged, there’s a notch inside the screen and a triple-camera system on the back of the handset.
The whole build is only 7.29 thick and weighs just 176g. Other than the variant seen in this clip, the Vivo V21 will also be available in more muted Arctic White and Dusk Blue colorways at an affordable Vivo mobile price.
As the promo campaign for the V21 series has already revealed, both the front and back cameras are powered by optical image stabilization. The V21 has a 44MP sensor for the selfie camera and a 64MP primary camera on the back, joined by an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP portrait sensor.
It remains to be officially confirmed but, from leaks and rumors, we know that the Vivo V21 5G runs on the Dimensity 800U chipset, a 4400 mAh battery, and the Android11-based FunTouchOS.
It comes in 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB options. The V21 screen is a 6.44” AMOLED panel, featuring a full HD resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It’s expected to start from Rs. 61,000 to 67,000 PKR.
