The rollout of the Vivo V23 series started when the Vivo V23e debuted in a couple of Asian markets. But the series also features the Vivo V23 and V23 Pro. And Vivo is gearing up to introduce the V23 Pro model soon.
91Mobiles, a reputed smartphone publication, reports that the Vivo V23 Pro is scheduled for launch on January 4. Vivo V23 Pro had already been certified. The phone will land in India first before moving on to other countries. Vivo V23 should follow after the V23 Pro has been released.
Vivo has kept a tight lid on the specs and design of these two phones. But 91Mobiles, citing internal sources, managed to dig up a few details nonetheless. For one, the V23 Pro rocks a 64MP camera on the back. Also, the screen (probably notched) is OLED and delivers a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.
The rest of the new V23 Vivo mobile is a mystery for now. But if the V23e is any guide, the V23 Pro should have at least 44W charging support. The chip at the phone's heart is a 5G mobile platform. We suspect it's MediaTek-made.
Optical image stabilization and eye-tracking autofocus were the big highlights of the last-gen Vivo V21 series. And both features should return with the Vivo V23 Pro. We'll learn more in the coming weeks.
